The T-Roc concept car, presented in Geneva three years ago, will finally get a production version, which will be a compact crossover with a more practical body featuring five doors.
The car will be built on the modular MQB platform, and its dimensions will be somewhat smaller than the Tiguan crossover.
The powertrains and gearboxes will likely be carried over from the current Golf. The appearance of a high-performance GTI modification is also not ruled out.
Sales of the new crossover are expected to start closer to autumn.
