The restyling brought the Mustang a new hood, radiator grille, fenders, and bumper. The front and rear lighting became fully LED, even in the base trim.

Inside, the steering wheel was updated and can now be equipped with heating. A fully digital 12-inch instrument cluster is available as an option.

The 3.7-liter V6 has been dropped from the engine lineup, while the EcoBoost turbo engine and the five-liter V8 have been significantly modernized, but their specifications have not yet been disclosed.

A 10-speed automatic transmission is now offered. The six-speed manual has also been improved to add precision to the gear shift mechanism.

Sales of the updated Ford Mustang in the domestic market are scheduled to start in the fall. In Europe, the model will appear no earlier than next year.
