The head of the British luxury brand, Wolfgang Dürheimer, announced the company's plans. According to him, plug-in hybrids are the most successful solution, as they combine the advantages of two types of powertrains.

The first Bentley with a hybrid powertrain will be the Bentayga crossover, and its eco-friendly version will be released in 2018. Following it, the 'green' version will be given to the Continental GT sports coupe, but already in the next generation, the premiere of which is scheduled for the end of this year.

Dürheimer has not yet disclosed the technical parameters of future hybrids.
