The “smart” Yui system is capable of independently managing all vehicle functions, up to fully autonomous driving. The Concept-i can recognize its owner and pre-adjust the navigation system and interior lighting to suit the “boss’s” tastes.
In addition, Yui monitors the well-being and emotions of the driver and passengers, and can also communicate with them not only audiovisually, through speakers and a head-up display on the windshield, but also tactilely, using special movable upholstery on the armrests.
The Concept-i is also not averse to communicating with other cars and drivers, leaving text messages for them on a screen at the rear of the body.
The Japanese decided not to disclose the technical specifications of the concept car.
