The new Q3 will be presented to the public in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and the first details about the upcoming model are already beginning to appear in the media.
The crossover will be built on the new modular MQB platform, which should help reduce the vehicle's weight, but at the same time the new Q3 will become somewhat larger than its predecessor.
In 2018, the Q3 will for the first time be equipped with a hybrid powertrain, and a year later, a fully electric version of the crossover should hit the market. However, the Germans are not yet disclosing technical details.
