During an internal inspection, specialists determined that after changing the position of the second-row seats in the longitudinal direction, they may remain unsecured, suddenly shift backward, and cause injuries to passengers in the third row. This issue affected 633,753 Odyssey vehicles produced between August 2010 and October 2015.
In addition, another malfunction was found related to the mounting of the second-row center seat, which can be adjusted independently, but it is also not secured reliably enough. In this case, 7,549 cars produced this fall are subject to recall, which was the reason for the temporary halt in sales of the Odyssey model by the Japanese manufacturer.
