If you look at the latest ranking of car brands, compiled based on the popularity of search queries in Google, and compare it with data from 2015, only three brands managed to keep their places in the top ten. In addition to Honda, Mercedes-Benz also showed stability, moving up from fourth to second place, as well as the rapidly growing Tesla — this manufacturer jumped from tenth place straight into the top three.
Brands such as Chevrolet, Dodge, General Motors, Lexus, Mazda, Porsche, and Volkswagen dropped out of the top ten.
