General Motors concern has begun road testing of the autonomous version of the Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle, which will take place in Detroit and its suburbs.
The main tests of the self-driving "Bolt" will take place in the vicinity of the Orion Township plant, where, in fact, production of this model will begin in the near future.
The standard version of the electric car can travel about 400 km on a single charge. How far the autonomous version, ironically named Markhor (spiral-horned goat), and covered with antennas, cameras, lidar, and many sensors, will be able to go is still unknown.
