The Lucid Air unit includes a pair of electric motors, each responsible for its own axle. Batteries are offered in two variants — 100 and 130 kWh, providing a range of approximately 650 kilometers.

The prototype needs only 2.5 seconds to accelerate to a hundred kilometers per hour, and its top speed reaches 315 km/h.

The start of serial production of the Lucid Air is scheduled for 2018. The new model is planned to be assembled at the company's facility, which is currently being built in Arizona.

Official prices have not yet been announced, but experts believe that the starting configuration will cost buyers at least 100 thousand dollars.
