The company plans to build 25 examples of the retro coupe, which has been named the DB4 G.T. Continuation. Under the hood of the revived model will be an inline six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3.7 liters, producing 344 horsepower; it will work in conjunction with a four-speed manual gearbox.
The original DB4 GT was produced between 1959 and 1963. This modification was a lightweight version of the standard DB4, the main difference being a reduced wheelbase.
Assembly of the Aston Martin DB4 G.T. Continuation will start in the summer of next year. The official price tag is still being kept under wraps, however, according to preliminary information, the cost of the car will be about two million dollars.
