Toyota has begun testing a new generation of the legendary Supra model.
The new "Supra" is being developed jointly with BMW and will be built on the platform of the new generation Z4 model.
According to preliminary information, the sports coupe will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain consisting of an electric motor and a 1.6-liter gasoline engine from BMW.
The production version of the model is expected to debut in 2018.
