The Volkswagen e-Golf electric car after the update received batteries of 35.8 kWh, which increased the range to 200 kilometers without recharging — 50 km more than the previous figure. The electric motor output now reaches 134 hp, which is 19 hp more than the previous value, and torque has increased by 20 N·m — to 290 N·m. Dynamics have also improved: acceleration to 100 km/h takes 9.7 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 150 km/h.
Full charging of the batteries will take about six hours, but the options list includes a fast charging system that can restore 80% of capacity in just one hour.
