The production version of the hydrogen-powered Lexus is expected to debut in 2020. The crossover will be based on the hydrogen sedan Toyota Mirai, which became the company's first production model to use a powertrain based on hydrogen fuel cells. The Mirai's engine produces 153 hp, and the sedan accelerates to 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds.
