The exterior of the Leon received minimal changes; the facelift brought only a slightly enlarged radiator grille, modernized optics, and bumpers. In addition, a new Xcellence version was added, which features a chrome radiator grille, sill trims, and decorative interior lighting.
There are also few changes in the interior; one can only note the multimedia system screen enlarged to 8 inches and the appearance of wireless charging for smartphones.
The engine lineup gained a 115-horsepower diesel engine with a displacement of 1.6 liters. For the all-wheel-drive Leon ST station wagon with a two-liter engine producing 150 hp, a seven-speed DSG "robot" became available.
Sales of the updated Leon family will start at the end of the year.
