According to available information, under the hood of this impressive hybrid will be a power unit borrowed from Formula 1: a 1.6-liter V6 engine producing 900 horsepower, complemented by several electric motors. The production version of the hypercar should not be expected before 2018.
In parallel, the sports division is working on creating a purely electric supercar that will replace the limited series Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive (pictured). However, the appearance of this new product in the next four years is not to be expected.
