BMW presented the X2 concept car in Paris, which will later transform into a production compact crossover.
The name of the show car suggests that we have a "coupe" version of the X1 model, but the design of the concept lacks the sloping rear roof typical of Bavarian crossovers with even indices. In addition to huge wheels and impressive exhaust pipes, one can note an additional third brand emblem on the rear pillar of the body.
The Germans have not yet shared technical details and interior photos. According to preliminary information, the production X2 should appear no earlier than 2018.
