The published images show that the coupe has doors that open upwards, a chrome radiator grille, and LED lights. The car's length reaches approximately six meters. Inside, a touch-sensitive instrument panel and a projection screen that projects data onto the windshield were placed. The concept is based on the platform from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe.
This development is intended to show what Maybach is capable of in creating models in the highest price segment, able to compete with Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, and Bentley. As AutoExpress reports, the car will soon be put into production, and its official presentation is scheduled for next year.
In addition, Mercedes-Benz admits that within a few years, a luxury crossover may also appear under the Maybach brand.
If this project receives approval, the car will be built on a completely new architecture. Rivals for such a model will be the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Lamborghini Urus.
