The other day, AvtoVAZ presented a prototype of the electric version of the Lada Vesta sedan, which received an addition to its name – EV (electric vehicle).
According to the manufacturer, the electric Vesta is equipped with a power unit of 82 horsepower and lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 25 kilowatt-hours. The claimed acceleration to 100 kilometers per hour is not particularly impressive (15.5 seconds), but the range is quite substantial – 200 km in the city and 150 km when driving on the highway.
For a full recharge of the batteries, the electric Vesta needs 9 hours when charging from a household electrical outlet.
