The flagship crossover from Polestar features a modified hybrid powertrain with a combined output of 421 hp (torque - 680 Nm). According to the Swedish company, this is the most powerful Volvo model in history.

From 0 to 100 km/h, the XC90 Polestar accelerates in five and a half seconds, with a claimed fuel consumption in the combined cycle of 2.1 liters per 100 km. As for the range purely on electric power, according to Volvo, it is 43 km.

Among the features of the refined crossover, it is worth noting the sport gear-holding function, which prevents shifting during sharp corners. Sales of the new Volvo XC90 Polestar crossover are scheduled to start at the end of 2016.
