We are talking about a convertible based on the Mercedes GLC. Its main competitor will be the already available open-top Range Rover Evoque. In addition, it will compete with the version without a hard roof of the Nissan Murano, one of the first crossovers of this type.

The exact timing of the Mercedes GLC convertible's appearance remains unknown. However, if the model is indeed put into production, it will most likely get a soft folding roof.

From a technical point of view, the car will apparently be unified with the rest of the GLC lineup, including the powertrains.
