Compared to its predecessor, the new generation CX-9 has decreased in length by 30 mm, but has received an increased wheelbase by 55 mm. Externally, the car has changed radically and now reflects the styling of the latest Mazda models.
The interior has also been significantly transformed. The instrument panel, multimedia, seats – everything is new.
Among the features, it is worth noting the i-Activesense safety package. In this case, the car is equipped with a whole army of electronic assistants: adaptive cruise control, blind spot and lane monitoring systems, automatic braking in case of collision threat, and automatic switching on/off of high beam.
Under the hood - a 2.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with 253 hp and a torque of 420 Nm, available from 2000 rpm. The gearbox is a 6-speed automatic. Drive - front or all-wheel drive. Sales start of the new model - spring 2016. There is no information on prices yet.
