We have already published the official teaser of the model, and many liked it, as the car depicted in it impressed with its bold design. And just a couple of days later, photos of the pre-production Sportage without camouflage became public. The car can be viewed from all sides and inside.
And here many were disappointed, as the model's appearance differs from the designer's sketches. Essentially, the coupe-like profile is absent. If after the teaser we expected to see an almost sporty coupe, in reality it turned out to be an ordinary crossover. But at the same time, the front and rear parts still match the designer's drawing.
The interior is executed in the same style as the Kia Sorento Prime.
Since the new Sportage is based on the Hyundai Tucson platform, it can be argued that the wheelbase will grow by 30 mm, that is, up to 2670 mm compared to its predecessor, and the engine lineup will include a 1.6-liter turbo engine with 176 hp. In addition, all engines of the current generation will also be retained.
