Let us remind you that the first acquaintance with the new product took place at the Geneva Motor Show. Under the hood of the car is a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine. Its power reaches an impressive 310 hp and 400 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, which drives the front wheels. The charged Civic accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 270 kilometers per hour.

In the new Civic Type R, the driver has the ability to select control unit operating modes: using the + R button located on the steering wheel, you can turn on the sport mode, which improves engine response and improves dynamics. A powerful car needs powerful brakes, so the Civic is equipped with a Brembo braking system with four-piston calipers. To reduce losses from wheel slip during acceleration and sharp turns, a self-locking limited-slip differential is installed on the front axle.

In appearance, the car repeats the Civic Type R concept.

In accordance with the canons of the Honda sports division, the car is equipped with a massive rear spoiler, an aggressive body kit with modified bumpers, widened front fenders, a splitter, ventilated front fenders and aerodynamic side skirts.

In the interior, as befits a sports car, special sports seats upholstered in red Alcantara are installed.
