This Mercedes is seen by brand fans as a competitor to the Audi RS3, which it is almost ready to dethrone from the pedestal. To do this, engineers prepared a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine producing at least 360 hp (265 kW).
Externally, changes will affect the front and rear bumpers and lighting devices.
The currently produced A45 AMG reaches 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, the updated version will be slightly faster, just a little, by 0.1 seconds. The top speed, following German tradition, will be limited to 250 km/h.
It is expected that the new car will be officially presented no earlier than the Frankfurt Motor Show.
