Ahead of the official presentation, the manufacturer has revealed new details about the car. The main novelty announced by the manufacturer is an additional Teen Driver option. Its task is to monitor teenage drivers.
Maybe for Ukraine this issue is not so relevant, but for America it is very much so. After all, they get their licenses at 16. However, our eighteen-year-olds are probably not far behind them.
A car with such a system will record all details of teenagers' movements. This is necessary so that parents can check where and how their heir drove, whether they violated the speed limit. In addition, the Teen Driver system can be programmed to limit the volume of the music system and the maximum speed of the car. And the settings can be protected with a password.
Let us remind you that in Ukraine the "European" Chevrolet Malibu, produced in South Korea, is currently on sale. The sedan is offered with petrol engines of 2.4 L (167 hp and 225 Nm) and 3.0 L (263 hp). Regardless of the trim level, these engines work in conjunction with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
