There is no specific information about the car. But, judging by the teasers, it is already clear that the model will undergo a radical exterior change – the body will become more streamlined with a smaller side glass area, and the front of the model will have much in common with the new Honda CR-V.
In addition, the interior will also be updated. Thus, the SUV will get a different instrument panel with a large multi-color infotainment system screen and an electronic speedometer. The model will also lose the gear selector, replaced by buttons located between the front seats. Optionally, the new Pilot will be equipped with a third row of seats that can accommodate three passengers.
According to unofficial data, under the hood of the new model will be a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 310 hp, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission or a CVT.
Company engineers emphasize that the new generation SUV will become one of the most economical and technologically advanced in its class.
First, the Pilot will appear in the US this summer. Then it will be available in other countries.
