In general, it can be noted that the design of the new model is in the spirit of the latest Emgrand. Although personally it seems to us that from some angles the GC7 has similarities with the KIA Rio. Or does it just seem to us?
The updated GC7 sedan has solid dimensions for a car of its class (length - 4590 mm, width - 1734 mm, height - 1470 mm, and wheelbase - 2600 mm), so the interior turned out spacious. This also had a positive effect on the trunk, the volume of which is now 480 liters, and with the rear seats folded - 1000 liters.
The car's interior now features a G-Link multimedia system with a 7-inch display that allows synchronization of smartphones based on iOS and Android.
Buyers will have two engine options to choose from: a 1.3-liter turbo engine with 135 hp and a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine (its output is not yet disclosed). Both engines are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. With such units, fuel consumption in the combined cycle will be about 5.9 liters per 100 km.
In China, sales of the modernized Geely GC7 will begin this month. In other markets, the sedan will most likely appear after the New Year.
