The new model will hit the market next year. It is unlikely that the new model will appear in Ukraine through the official dealer network, but it is possible that the new SUV will be brought in by "gray" dealers.
According to Ford representatives, we are looking at the embodiment of attractive design and excellent off-road characteristics. In fact, the production version is no different from the concept of the same name presented in Australia in the summer of 2013.

The Everest has a fairly decent ground clearance of 225 mm, thanks to which it can ford water up to 80 cm deep. In addition, as the developers stated, the SUV has the best payload capacity - 750 kg (including 100 kg on the roof). It can also tow a vehicle weighing up to 3 tons.
Another feature of the model is a large trunk that holds 2010 liters with the second and third rows of seats folded. There are also various niches for small items scattered throughout the cabin, with a total volume of 48 liters.

The new model will go on sale with three engines to choose from: a 2.0-liter gasoline EcoBoost "turbo-four", a 2.2-liter diesel unit, and a 3.2-liter five-cylinder "diesel" from the Duratorq family with a modernized exhaust gas recirculation system. As for the transmission, there is a six-speed manual or automatic, depending on the market. Engine power has not yet been announced.
Among other things, the new Ford Everest is equipped with the latest electronic assistants: adaptive cruise control, a system for warning about an object moving in a perpendicular direction, lane keeping assist, hill start and hill descent assist, and an off-road driving assistance function (four setting modes).

The SUV's infotainment system is also the latest generation - SYNC2 with an 8-inch touchscreen display and two USB ports.
First of all, the new model will arrive in the Asia-Pacific region and South Africa. On the Australian market, the price of the Everest starts from $45,000.
