The new model will initially be available exclusively for the Chinese market. The model will be positioned in the lineup between the K3 (Cerato) and K5 (Optima). However, according to analysts, the possibility of this car appearing in Europe cannot be ruled out.
Externally, the production version fully replicates the concept of the same name, which was shown to the public in spring at the Beijing Auto Show. The interior is borrowed from the Hyundai Sonata of the 2015 model year.
The car's length is 4.72 m, width — 1.82 m, height — 1.47 m, and the wheelbase reaches 2.77 m. Under the hood are four-cylinder engines with a displacement of 1.8 and 2.0 liters, producing 143 and 155 hp respectively. They are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
On the domestic Chinese market, the Kia K4 will cost approximately from $22,500.
