The electric powertrain did not affect the interior spaciousness of the Kia Soul. The electric motor develops 110 horsepower, with torque reaching 285 N/m. Acceleration to one hundred kilometers per hour takes 12 seconds, and the top speed is electronically limited to 145 km/h.
Since the electric car moves almost silently, which has already repeatedly provoked accident situations, the vehicle is equipped with an artificial noise generator for pedestrian safety. The sound accompaniment is activated when driving at speeds up to 12 km/h.
