The Germans claim that the 2015 Passat is a premium car at a non-premium price. And it's easy to believe, given the car's expressive and modern appearance! The Passat B8 really turned out beautiful and striking.

In terms of dimensions, the Passat is practically no different from its predecessor, except for height – the new model is 14 mm lower. The car is also slightly shorter, but has a wheelbase extended by 80 mm. The engine range consists exclusively of 4-cylinder engines. Petrol ones – from 1.4 L to 2.0 L with power from 125 hp to 280 hp. Diesels - from 1.6 to 2.0 liters with power from 120 hp to 240 hp.

The Germans also promise a hybrid version, which will debut in 2015. Transmission – manual or robotic DSG automatic. There will also be an all-wheel drive modification.

Among the new options: a surround view system, an automatic parking system for a car with a trailer, LED headlights, and even DCC chassis with electronically controlled shock absorbers.

The starting price in Germany will be almost 26 thousand euros. Sales of the Volkswagen Passat B8 will begin in autumn 2014.
