The Kalina Sport model will be released in two versions at once. The base version will get a 1.6-liter engine with 120 horsepower and will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds. The second option is more powerful, with an engine of the same displacement, but already producing 140 horsepower. Such a car will reach 100 km/h a second faster.

Both trim levels include a five-speed manual gearbox, revised steering, and modified suspension. The more powerful modification will also be fitted with low-profile tires on 17-inch wheels.

When developing both versions of the LADA Kalina Sport, engineers relied on the developments of the factory racing team LADA Sport, which participates in the world WTCC championship.

Earlier, AvtoPortal had already reported on the imminent appearance of the new Lada Granta hatchback at dealerships.
