Lithuanian fuel is renowned for its high quality — it is readily purchased in other European countries as well. Now on the Ukrainian market, in addition to the familiar A-95 Euro and Euro diesel fuel, a new improved line Ventus (translated as "wind") has appeared, including both gasoline and diesel.

This branded fuel is produced using a multifunctional additive developed by the German company BASF. This additive improves acceleration dynamics and increases the resistance of engine parts to wear. The additive composition includes:

  • detergents — clean the fuel system from accumulated contaminants and prevent the formation of carbon deposits;
  • dispersants — promote the uniform distribution of large particles in engine oil;
  • corrosion inhibitors — protect the vehicle's fuel system from rust;
  • demulsifiers — accelerate the process of separating water particles present in the fuel.

It is worth noting that Ventus fuel is already familiar to Ukrainian drivers — it was sold in Kharkiv and Donetsk, but it appeared in Kyiv for the first time. The exclusive distributor of Ventus in the capital and region has become the local network of gas stations "KLO". At the stations of this network, the new product will replace the usual brands: instead of 95 Premium (Euro-5), Ventus 95 will appear, and instead of "Euro diesel" — Ventus Diesel.

"Our goal is to increase the share of premium European fuel in total sales. Ventus deserves this — today it is truly the best fuel on the market," noted the commercial director of the capital's gas station network "KLO" Vyacheslav Steshenko. "We even switched our own fleet to Ventus so that our employees could see in practice: a car fueled with this fuel runs noticeably better."

As the manufacturer claims, using Ventus provides the following advantages:

  • increase in power of the power unit;
  • improved response to the gas pedal and dynamic characteristics;
  • smoother and quieter engine operation;
  • cleaning of the fuel system and prevention of carbon deposit formation in fuel supply;
  • formation of a protective film on engine parts;
  • protection of the fuel tank and the entire fuel system from corrosion processes;
  • fast and high-quality separation of water contained in the fuel;
  • reduction of fuel consumption (savings can reach 4%);
  • extension of the vehicle's service life;
  • reduction of exhaust toxicity and harmful emissions by up to 15%.

When using Ventus, experts advise against additional cleaning additives — they are not necessary. It is also not recommended to use additives to increase the octane number.

At the presentation of the new product were present: Deputy Ambassador of Lithuania to Ukraine Marius Janukonis, Director of Wholesale Sales at Orlen Lietuva Dovidas Zinkevičius, Head of the Ukrainian representative office of Orlen Lietuva Igor Maistrenko, and one of the founders, Commercial Director of the gas station network "KLO" Vyacheslav Steshenko.
