In the "Import of passenger cars" section, available in the Personal Account on the "Single Window for International Trade" platform, new tools have appeared that make the process of submitting a declaration more convenient.
The first innovation is the function of automatic determination of the car's technical data by its VIN code. To obtain information about the vehicle, the user only needs to enter this code in the appropriate field.
The second improvement allows automatically filling in certain fields of the declaration using a photo of the technical passport. After uploading the document image, the system uses artificial intelligence to extract all available vehicle parameters from it, and selects the remaining characteristics based on the VIN code.
The updates are designed to speed up the passage of customs formalities, minimize the likelihood of errors when filling out paperwork, and make the customs clearance procedure more comfortable for car owners.
