The Cabinet of Ministers has banned the first registration of buses built on chassis that have been in use. The corresponding changes to the Procedure for state registration of vehicles were made on December 16.
Now it will be impossible to register a bus that was converted from an old van. However, if such a vehicle has already been registered before, its re-registration is still allowed.
It is known that in Ukraine there are many companies that convert cargo vans into passenger minibuses — most often for route transportation. They will no longer be allowed to use used cars as a base.
