Infiniti presented its compact hatchback today in Frankfurt. It was developed with the participation of Daimler, which shared the platform and technologies, but the Japanese tuned the car themselves.
Among the competitors of the new model are the Mercedes-Benz A-Class and BMW 1-Series. The Q30 turned out to be compact, but at the same time it has one of the most spacious trunks in its class - 368 liters.
The interior widely uses expensive materials. For example, there are matte metal panels instead of plastic, and the headliner is made of a material resembling suede. Among the interesting technologies is the Active Noise Cancellation system, which "dampens" noise with a signal in antiphase, and Active Sound Enhancement, which, on the contrary, enhances the engine sound (adds sportiness).
