The starting price of the lot was 1000 dollars, but the sellers hoped that during the auction the "transformer" would go for 100,000 dollars. However, despite the uniqueness of the "Mustang" — after all, it is not only a "movie hero" but also one of only three examples created for filming — expectations were not met. It seems that the consequences of the global economic downturn still affect auction bids.
The car for the film was prepared by Saleen together with the film company DreamWorks. The "transformer" named Barricade is built on the basis of the Saleen S281 Extreme, which, in turn, was created on the basis of the 2005 Ford Mustang. At the studio facilities, the car received police exterior elements: a flashing beacon, a bull bar, and stickers.
