As reported by the Renault group, the Romanian-assembled Duster recently celebrated a significant milestone – on May 13, the 2-millionth unit of the popular budget crossover rolled off the assembly line at the Dacia Mioveni plant. 93% of the produced Dusters were badged as Dacia, while the rest carried the Renault logo.

Currently, the Duster is the most produced model at the Mioveni plant. Every day, 930 units of this iconic model are assembled here (over 90% go to foreign markets). The car is available in 44 countries – from Romania, it is exported to other European countries, as well as Asia and North Africa.

The anniversary unit was a Duster ECO-G 100 (a version that runs on petrol and gas) in Orange Atacama color – it was sent to a customer in Romania.

It is worth noting that the Dacia/Renault Duster first appeared on the market in 2010. In 2017, the second generation of the model went on sale, and very soon (in summer) its restyled version is expected to debut. In addition to Romanian Mioveni, the popular SUV is also produced in Russia, Brazil, India, and Colombia.
