The Porsche electric car was in a continuous drift for 55 minutes. During this time, it covered 210 laps with a total length of 42.171 km. The average speed during the drift was 46 km/h.
The record run was carried out on a special circular track at the Porsche Experience center in Germany. A rear-wheel-drive 408-horsepower Porsche Taycan was used for this purpose. To make sliding easier, the track was flooded with water, but the driver still admitted that almost an hour of drifting was very tiring.
Porsche invited representatives of the Guinness Book of Records to the site. They officially recorded the record and presented the corresponding documents.
