The jubilee car was the compact crossover Model Y, sales of which are expected to start soon. In 2020, Tesla intends to reach a level of 150 thousand cars produced annually.

Last year, the Americans launched a new Gigafactory in Shanghai, China, where they set up production of Tesla's most affordable model, the Model 3. Localization of production made it possible to significantly reduce the cost of cars. The Chinese-made electric car costs 355.8 thousand yuan (50 thousand dollars) excluding subsidies, while cars imported from the USA cost 439 thousand yuan (62.7 thousand dollars).
In addition, Tesla has already begun construction of its first European enterprise, which will be located in Germany near the Berlin-Brandenburg airport currently under construction. When reaching maximum capacity, the plant will be able to produce up to half a million cars annually.
The next new product from Tesla will be the electric pickup Cybertruck, the prototype of which debuted in the fall of 2019. According to unofficial data, Tesla has already received more than half a million pre-orders for the car, serial production of which will begin no earlier than 2021.
