The SUV first appeared on movie screens in 1952. Since 1956, the car has participated in at least one film project annually. Over its 67-year history in cinema, the Suburban has appeared in more than 1,750 feature films, TV series, and television shows, and over 30 films featuring it have been nominated for various awards.
Dennis McCartney, who is responsible for selecting cars for most Hollywood productions, calls the Suburban a unique model. In his opinion, this SUV is, firstly, versatile and suitable for any image — from a villain to a law enforcement officer or a caring family man. Secondly, McCartney adds, it adds weight to any scene.
The SUV's track record includes such well-known works as "John Wick," "Transformers," "Cars," "The Avengers," and "The Killer," which was selected for the main competition of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
