From April 1, Josef Kaban will be responsible for the design of Rolls-Royce cars. The previous chief designer of the British firm, Giles Taylor, moved to the Chinese concern FAW last year.
The leadership of BMW's design department will pass to Domagoj Dukec, who previously oversaw the exterior of the Bavarian manufacturer's M and i models.
Before joining BMW, Jozef Kaban devoted more than ten years to the Volkswagen Group. It was he who created the look of the Bugatti Veyron hypercar and received many awards for his work.
In 2006, Kaban headed Audi's design division, and two years later, in 2008, the 46-year-old Slovak specialist became the chief designer of Skoda.
