The winner in the main category "Car of the Year," as well as the holders of five other awards in separate categories, will traditionally be announced at the April auto show in New York.
During the selection process, a top ten of finalists was determined from 40 contenders. They include: Audi e-tron, BMW 3-Series, Ford Focus, Genesis G70, Hyundai Nexo, Jaguar I-Pace, Mercedes-Benz A-Class, Suzuki Jimny, Volvo S60/V60, and Volvo XC40.
As you can see, a wide variety of cars are competing for the title — from compact hatchbacks and crossovers to executive sedans and electric vehicles.
