As local media report, production was halted due to malfunctions in the electric power steering. Deliveries of defective components have already been suspended. The problem affected the Forester, Impreza, and XV models. Due to the assembly line downtime, the shortfall in production could have exceeded 10,000 vehicles.
"We are currently investigating this incident and are not yet ready to disclose details," noted an official company representative. The timeline for resuming operations at the plant remains unknown.
