Schmitz shared her impressions of driving the Skoda Kodiaq RS on a race track, noting that she got a lot of positive emotions. According to her, in this version the manufacturer managed to fully realize the potential of the sport SUV.

Under the hood of the new model is a two-liter BiTDI diesel engine producing 239 horsepower. The engine is paired with a preselective robotic transmission with two clutches, as well as an all-wheel drive system.

Official data on speed characteristics has not yet been published. It is expected that acceleration to 100 km/h will take about 6.5 seconds, and the top speed will reach 230 kilometers per hour.

The public debut of the model is scheduled for the October Paris Motor Show.
