The new generation, represented by the Vesta model, appeared back in 2015, but AvtoVAZ decided not to stop production of the old model immediately — for three whole years both cars came off the assembly line simultaneously, with the Priora playing the role of a more affordable alternative.

Production of the Lada Priora started in 2007, and since then over a million of these cars have been sold. The final example of this model will come off the factory line in the coming months.
