Porsche has decided to completely abandon diesel modifications across the entire brand's model lineup.
As British media report, the main factor influencing the abandonment of diesel engines was the weak demand for such modifications, as well as the growing interest of buyers in hybrid powertrains.
Probably, this decision was also influenced by the loud "dieselgate", which last year also affected the company from Stuttgart.
The last diesel car to roll off the Porsche assembly line was the Macan S Diesel crossover. The manufacturer has already stopped accepting orders for such versions.
