The "hydrogen" alliance will include eleven companies, including Toyota Motor, Nissan Motor, Honda Motor, JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy, Idemitsu Kosan, Iwatani, Tokyo Gas, Toho Gas, Air Liquide Japan, Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Development Bank of Japan.

The main goal of the association is to significantly expand the network of hydrogen filling stations. By 2020, it is planned to install at least 160 such stations in Japan.

In addition, the alliance members intend to actively promote the growth of the fleet of hydrogen-powered vehicles, so that by the same time their number reaches 40 thousand.
