Tesla CEO Elon Musk is in talks with Chinese authorities about building a plant for assembling electric cars in Shanghai.
This kind of information was shared by the respected publication Bloomberg, whose correspondents believe that an agreement to launch assembly of Tesla electric cars in China will become a reality in the very near future.
There has been no official confirmation from the parties yet, but according to available data, one of the local companies has already agreed to cooperate with Tesla and is ready to begin construction of a plant in the Lingang area, located in Shanghai.
