Tesla has announced a recall campaign that will affect 53 thousand electric vehicles Model S and Model X from 2016.
The reason for the service campaign was a malfunction in the handbrake assembly. Due to this defect, the pads cannot release the wheels when the driver releases the parking brake lever.
Notifications about a visit to the service center will be sent to owners of Model S hatchback and Model X vehicles that came off the assembly line between February and October 2016.
